Ker govt orders probe into irregular appointments
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 5 (PTI) A vigilance probe has been ordered into the alleged irregularities in appointments in Kerala government service in Waynad district, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said today.
Government viewed the matter very seriously and an order for vigilance probe would be issued tomorrow, he told reporters.
Media reports had stated that six persons got jobs as lower division clerks in Waynad district collectorate office by using fake documents of Kerala Public Service Commission appointment memo and order.
Balakrishnan said it was suspected that a racket was behind the job fraud.
Meanwhile, Revenue Minister K P Rajendran said a departmental probe had already been started and action would be taken against those found responsible for it.
