New Pass Rules for Railway Employees- Clarification

New Pass Rules – Clarification

D.O.No.AIRF/82 Dated: January 13, 2011

Dear Coms.,

Sub: New Pass Rules – Clarification

We are getting lot of queries on year ending entitlement of Privilege Passes and for those who have not completed 5 year service.

We have discussed the matter with the Adviser(IR), Railway Board, who has clarified that all the Privilege Passes issued after 3rd January, 2011 will be covered under RBE No.3/2011(E(W)2008/PS 5-1/38 dated 6.1.2011), which means, remaining year ending Privilege Passes will be issued as per New Pass
Rules.

Those who have not completed 5 year service and are entitled for single pass will be entitled for IInd Class `A’ (AC-3 Tier) Privilege Pass.

In case any CPO or administrative officer has any problem, he can get it clarified from the Adviser(IR), Railway Board.

With best wishes!

Comradely Yours,

(Shiva Gopal Mishra)
