DA orders issued Tamil Nadu Government

In quick response to sanctioning of the Dearness allowance to Central Government Employees, Tamil Nadu Government has declared to enhance the Dearness allowance rates to 58% to its employees from 1.7.2011.

Regarding the above subject, Government Order has been published by the Finance (Allowances) Department on 3rd October, 2011 on the website of www.tn.gov.in

The order said that the enhanced payment from 1.7.2011 will be paid in cash and the arrears of the months of July, August and September 2011, also will be made in cash immediately to all eligible employees. The rate of additional Dearness allowance of 7% (i.e. existing rate of allowance is 51%, now it will become 58%) sanctioned to all regular State Government employees and also apply to the teaching and non-teaching staff working in aided educational institutions. The detailed list of eligible employees has been given in the order to get the dearness allowance working in the departments of Tamil Nadu Government.
