Disbursement of Payment of Bonus to Railway Employees

An Official Order has been sent to all General Managers of All Indian Railways and Production units regarding the disbursement of payment of Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days wages to all eligible railway employees. It contains the conditions of eligibility to get the PLBonus under Railway Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008.

It denotes, during the financial year 2010-11, who were not placed under suspension or had not quit service or retired or expired, may be paid an amount of Rs.8975 towards PLBonus for the financial year 2010-11.

It has been decided that the payment of PLBonus in cash to all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees should be made on priority as was done in the previous years.
