Dopt issued orders regarding Rotational Transfer of Assistants

Indian Government LogoAn office memorandum has been issued by the Department of Personnel and Training in its website pertaining that the subject of Rotational Transfer of Assistants. A decision has been taken in Dopt to implement Rotational Transfer in a systematic manner with the approval of the competent authority.

The implementation schedule has been circulated to all the Ministries/Departments vide OM No. 4/12/2011-CS.I(D) dated 2.3.2012. As per the schedule, Assistants who have completed 16 years or more in a particular Ministry/Department, as on 1.1.2012, after excluding those officers who are due to superannuation within two years are to be transferred as per list as Annexure-I.
