Kerala Government - Finance Department - Retirement ageDearness allowance order from Kerala Government

We have already informed about the enhancement of dearness allowance to the employees of Kerala Government. Now, the Finance Department of Kerala Government has issued orders for the hike in dearness allowance to State Government employees.

The office memorandum is started with the reference order issued by the Central Government to its employees, the revised rates of dearness allowance payable to the State Government employees, Teachers, Staff of Aided Schools, Private Colleges and Polytechnics, Full time employees borne on the contingent and work charged establishments and employees of local bodies will be applicable with effect from 1.1.2012 at the rate of 38%.

And for the employees who are all getting pay in the pre-revised scale, the rate of dearness allowance will be increased by 12% from the existing rates.
