MBBS - BDS Courses 2012New Fee structure for MBBS / BDS Courses 2012-13

A new fee structure has been declared for the courses of MBBS and BDS by the committee of Justice Balasubramanian today. The duration of MBBS Courses is 5½ years including one year Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship and for BDS Courses is 5 years including one year Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship.

Annual fees for MBBS Courses has been determined by the committee as Rs.2.3 lakh per year for the academic year 2012-12. The committee is fixed Rs.2.8 lakh per year should be collected as annual fees for MBBS courses in private colleges.

The committee has fixed Rs.1 lakh per year as annual fees for BDS courses in the academic year.

And the revised fees structure for Engineering Courses is expected to publish very soon.

Sree Mookambigai Medical College, Kulasekaram  – 2.30 Lakhs
PSG Medical College, Coimbatore  – 2. 50 Lakhs
Adiparasakthi Medical College, Melmaruvathur – 2.50 Lakhs
Karpaga Vinayaga Medical College, Chinnakolambakkam, Madurantakam , Kanchipuram District – 2.25 lakhs
Chennai Medical Hospital & Research Centre, Trichy  – 2.25 lakhs
Tagore Medical College, Vandalur  – 2.25 lakhs
Sree Muthukumaran Medical College,Mangadu,  Chennai  – 2.25 lakhs

BDS 
All Self Financing Colleges  – 85,000/ -

Note : Any modification in the Fee for 2012 – 2013 will be fixed by the fee    committee and will be informed during counselling.
