No merge DA with Basic Pay – Minister replied in Parliament

Yesterday the Minister of Finance Namo Narain Meena informed in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha that the ‘6th Central Pay Commission had recommended not to merge Dearness Allowance with basic pay at any stage’. Some Central government employees associations have been demanding for the merger of 50% Dearness allowance with basic pay and the constitute of 7th Pay Commission.

And also he added, the next pay commission is considered normal after a gap of ten years between two successive pay commission.
