Dearness Relief to State Government of MP Pensioners

One more installment of Dearness relief has been sanctioned for this year from 1st August, 2012 to all state pensioners and family pensioners of Madhya Pradesh.

State Government of Madhya Pradesh has decided and issued orders, 7% of dearness relief additionally approved to all the state pensioners with effect from 1.8.2012. The total rate of dearness relief will be now 65%.

The DR shall be admissible on the Superannuation, Retiring, Invalid and Compensation Pension. The DR shall also be payable on the Compassionate Allowance sanctioned to the employees discharged or removed from service and the said DR shall also be payable to persons receiving family pension and extra ordinary pension under the restrictions contained in the Finance Department’s Memo No.F.B.6/43/76/R-II/IV dated 5.10.76.

Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare has issued orders for sanctioning the Dearness relief to those CG pensioners who are in receipt of provisional pension or pension in the pre-revised scales of 5th CPC are entitled at the rate 139% with effect from 1.1.2012.

The existing rate of DR is now 127%, it will be enhanced by 12% with effect from 1.1.2012 to all eligible Central Government pensioners.

The state government of Rajasthan granted 7% of dearness relief to its pensioners with effect from 1.1.2012.

An Office Memorandum has been uploaded in its website today that the dearness relief to state government pensioners shall be revised from 58% to 65% with effect from 1.1.2012. This hike will also admissible on the additional quantum of pension/family pension allowed to the pensioners who have attained the age of 80 years and above.

The enhancement is also be applicable in case of pensioners/family pensioners who are in receipt of provisional pension.

To compensate the price increased in essential commodities, DA or DR has been given for all serving and retired employees of the State and Central Governments. In the light of this, some employees and pensioners are still receiving salary or pension as per 5th CPC and now, the Tamil Nadu Government has issued orders for the employees and pensioners to enhanced Dearness allowance from the existing rate of 115 per cent to 127 per cent with due from July, 2012.

The order said following the orders issued by the Government of India, TN Govt. also sanction the revised rate of Dearness allowance to the State Government employees who continue to draw their pay and allowances in the pre-revised scale of pay. The increased Dearness allowance will be paid in cash and this order shall not be admissible to part time employees.

The revised Dearness Allowance sanctioned to the teaching and non-teaching staff working in aided educational institutions, employees under local bodies, employees governed by the University Grants Commission/All India Council for Technical Education scales of pay, the Teachers/Physical Directors/Librarians in Government and Aided Polytechnics and Special Diploma Institutions, Village Assistants in Revenue Department, Noon Meal Organisers, Child Welfare Organisers, Anganwadi Workers, Cooks, Helpers, Panchayat Assistants/Clerks in Village Panchayat under Rural  Development and Panchayat Raj Department.

Following the early announcement of the Dearness allowance to serving employees of the State Government Tamil Nadu, now, it has been decided by the TN Govt. that the Dearness allowance payable to State Government Pensioners/Family Pensioners shall be enhanced the existing rate of 51% to 58% with effect from 1st July, 2011. The additional instalment of Dearness allowance payable to Pensioners/Family Pensioners shall be paid in cash.

This benefit goes to all State Government Pensioners, Teachers pensioners of aided and local body educational Institutions and other pensioners of local bodies. The State Government employees who had drawn lumpsum payment on absorption in Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous body / Local body / Co-operative institution employees and to all eligible employees.
