IT investments in Andhra improving, says Rosaiah
Bangalore, Oct 24 (PTI) Investments in the Information Technology sector in Andhra Pradesh which suffered a decline in the wake of agitations relating to Telangana movement “are improving gradually”, state Chief Minister K Rosaiah said today.
“The IT investments in the state which suffered a decline in the recent months due to various agitations (relating to the Telangana Movement) are improving gradually,” he told reporters here today.
To a query on the alleged hold Andhra Pradesh’s mining lobby had on Karnataka, he said “they (Reddy brothers — G Janardhana Reddy and G Karunakara Reddy) have mines in the AP region. But they are operating (politically) in Karnataka.”
The UPA Government at the Centre was taking cognisance of the matter, Rosaiah, who was felicitated at a function here, added.
