Counselling for B.E. II Year (Direct Admission) begins on 19th
Counselling for direct admission to Second Year B.E. courses at all the government-run, financially-aided, and self-financing colleges begins on June 19 and will go on until July 2, at Karaikudi Alagappa Chettiar College.
There are 534 government-run, financially-aided, and self-financing engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. There are 1 lakh vacant seats in Second Year B.E. courses. More than 21,400 completed applications were received for these seats. All qualified students can therefore get admissions this year.
The list of applicants, ranked according to their cut-off scores, has been prepared. The list is available on the college’s website for the applicants to see. Based on the list, call letters have been sent to the applicants. If the candidate doesn’t receive the call letter or if the candidate’s name is missing from the list, he/she can still attend the counselling sessions along with all relevant documents.
For students with BSc Mathematics degree, June 19 is the date of counselling, between 9 AM and 11 AM. Athletes and children of ex-servicemen will have their counselling between 11 AM and 2 PM. Between 2 PM and 5 PM, counselling will be offered to students under special category.
Diploma holders and students with chemistry degrees will have their counselling on the 20th, between 8 and 10 AM. Those with diplomas in textile, leather and printing technologies will have their counselling between 10 AM and 12 PM. Those with diplomas in civil engineering will have their counselling on June 20. Counselling starts at 1.30 PM on June 20 for students with cut-off scores of 93.71 and continue until 6.00 PM, June 22, to counsel students with scores of 54.875.
