Comments on One Rank One Pension Scheme
Abhayaraj B Says : OROP notification released by the government gives clear room for doubt that there is a hidden and cruel modus operandi of bringing discrimination among veterans. This detrimental formula is wrapped up diplomatically and disseminated among the public media with an entirely different picturization claiming that, the BJP government has finally kept the pre-election promise and implemented OROP, which is going to benefit 25 lakhs veterans. By poking the funny clause VRS, 25 percent of the lot is not going to reep the benefits of OROP. How cleverly the whole issue is politicized by our government and trying to put dust into the eyes of the nation by spreading false propaganda! It is a mere shame on the present political leadership of this country and a very sad and pathetic state of Indian soldiers!
KSM Ganesh Says : I joined the organization (BSF- Central Govt. ) in 1992 as CT/GD. Then i was selected as Naik/Generator Operator in 1996 and after i was promoted as Head Constable/Generator Operator in 1997 in Engineering branch. Later i got permission for higher studies from my Deptt. for Electrical Engineering (distance mode) which was completed by 2006. In 2008, I was selected as SI/JE(Electrical) on deputation basis for three years in BSF on above Diploma Certificate. During deputation before completion of two years I got permanent absorbed as SI/JE(Electrical) by said organization on 2010 and my deputation allowance was stopped. After probation period of two years (2012) the said organization verified my diploma certificate from my JRN RV(Deemed) University ,Udaipur ,Rajasthan regarding UGC recognition. They got reply as recognized by UGC act 1956. In 2013, they prepared seniority list for direct entries and permanent absorbers, in which i was placed in serial no. 15. As per BSF Recruitment rule, BSF needs 5 years experience in present cadre for next promotion. Recently my juniors are promoted according to Seniority list . I asked, my Department why they have not given me the promotion. they gave me reply saying your diploma have no AICTE . So, The C.A disqualified me for the promotion. I met C.A and shown certificates which were recognized by UGC and IGNOU,DEC and also Joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC. But they require only AICTE. When i was joined as SI/JE(Elect.) as per Recruitment rule 1999 says that for Direct Entry/deputation/permanent absorbed ” 3 years diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Central or state Government.” Now my service going in this organization is 23 years, out of which 8 th year running as SI/JE (Electrical). Now they are saying i am not eligible for promotion as INSPR/JE(Electrical) and they repatriated me from present post of SI/JE(E) to HC/Gen.Opr on 30/09/2015. I am now getting on stay by High court of Karnataka till 16/11/2015.Please clarify/Advise me.
My query is whether the action of my department is right or do I have any hope of getting promotion as INSPR/JE.
Thanking You Sir,

BALACHANDRAN NAIR PK Says : I am a senior citizen aged 72 . I was in the AMC and then in central civil service. Her contention is totally correct. But this should be made applicable to all central government pensioners. Not only the military pensioners. That is called natural justice.Since 1971 there is no war. So those who had joined since 1971 and retired are getter retirement befits than those who had attended three wars with Pakistan twice and with China in 1962. Now in the defence service good salary perks and pension and lot of welfare schemes for bettering their future life. Then what about in 1960- 1970? I do not know the GDP on those years? Life is the same for those served the nation in 1960 or before upto 1970. But one can see that there is vast difference in the quantum of pay, perk and pensions. Now I heard that some of the retired officers of the Army got arrears in lahs for 80 months from 1.1.2006 to Sep 2012.
Now Army is good place to serve in the A/c rooms and the like service. The P M himself born after getting independence and may not know the wars with China and Pakistan and after what happened to those soldiers who took part in the wars and the families who died in the wars. I believe that they are getting small pension. But those who are retiring now getting very good pension because of 6th CPC done good job for defence personnel. There are so many ex military personnel who do not know what is war? But in their pockets good pension is getting every month. But not to the very very old pensioners prior to 1960..
